Paddling, mentoring and Hawaiian cultural education come together in a club that fields crews from young paddlers through kūpuna.

Ages / eligibility: Crews begin at age 9
Community / practice location: Hoaloha Park, Kahului Harbor
Opportunities: MCHCA regatta competition, distance paddling and youth mentoring. Contact the club about distance crews.
Season: Regatta season runs April–August and distance season August–October. Contact the club for youth practice times.

Contact the club to sign up. They can tell you about fees, the swim requirement and practice times.

The club explicitly hosts Baldwin High School and Kamehameha Schools Maui during the MIL season. This relationship does not establish practice arrangements for other schools.

Ask which group suits your child’s age and experience, whether a swim test is needed, what equipment is supplied, and where to meet for the first practice.
