From first dribbles to school competition, basketball brings Maui County communities together.
Basketball is a fast-moving team sport built around dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding and defense. Younger players can start with basic ball handling and simple team play, while older divisions add more structured offenses, defenses and competitive play. Because the game can be played indoors or outdoors with relatively little equipment, it is one of the easiest sports for a child to begin practicing.
Maui has recreational, club and school basketball opportunities for boys and girls across a wide range of ages.

Volunteer youth basketball league with fall play and weekend games at Maui venues.

Free County youth basketball with district recreation coordination. Registration and the playing season have separate dates.
